Being a WAHM

Working at home sounds like a dream come true for many people. Working at home with kids can be a bit of a struggle. Sometimes it’s hard finding that balance of working and being a mom.

Luckily my job is social media based so I can work from anywhere that I have service on my phone – which now a days is just about everywhere! I do not need an office or a quiet space – although let’s face it, parents always wish for quiet time!

For me, I try to get as much work done as I can in the mornings while my boys are eating breakfast and playing on their own. If I haven’t scheduled my posts for the week already, I will get my posts done for the day and catch up on messages and emails.

Of course there are days where I have a sick kiddo or I’m not feeling well so not much gets done. I look at it as a perk of working from home, I don’t have to “call out sick” or leave work early. Owning my own businesses also means I have no one to answer to. If I don’t work one day, its ok.
