I have used Bareminerals for years! I did a post on what I was using. In the Texas heat, the makeup just was not staying. It was transferring to everything, and smudging. So I took a trip to Ulta.
So I am now trying out Benefit, Too Faced and Morphe. I spoke with two awesome women there, explaining what BareMinerals was doing to my skin and what I needed. They guided me to some new products. Here is what I got –
This primer reduces and blurs the look of pores giving a perfect base for your foundation. I use this on my T-zone where I tend to be a little oily.
This primer is moisturizing, so I use this on the rest of my face where it tends to be a bit dry.
The brightening foundation covers really well, while still looking very natural and light weight.
The cakeless concealer is fantastic at hiding dark circles under the eyes, and a couple red spots on my cheeks. Brightens under the eyes giving a fresh smooth look.
Now, this is a powder foundation, but was recommended as a setting powder. I think it works great!
The Morphe Sculpt and Shimmer palette is great! I blend two of the contour colors to work with my skin tone. The highlight is bright and shimmery but not overwhelming. The palette colors easily blend and are buildable.
One of my favorite brush brands is Real Techniques. They are soft yet durable. Clean easily and work with all types of makeup. I also use their makeup sponge, which is pretty comparable to the Beauty Blender.
